Power Outlet not working

I just picked up my Prius last night. This morning I attempted to plug in a gps to the power outlet below the dash. The gps did not power up. The gps is new and works on my other car, so I don't think the gps is the problem. The car was "on" so I really don't know what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Does any other device work in that outlet? Sometimes the device plugs have small differences that allow them to work in one socket and not another.

Does the GPS work in the console outlet?

If it works in the armrest outlet, but not the dash outlet, and nothing works in the dash outlet; it's probably the dash outlet fuse. Simple fix at the dealer. (Happened to mine, too.)
