Politics On Wheels in the New York Times reports about a survey correlating vehicle type to political persuasion.
It's an interesting piece.
About our Prii:
"The blue-staters, not surprisingly, are a lot more likely to put hybrid cars on their list: buyers of the Toyota Prius hybrid were Democrats by a 35 to 22 percent."
It's not skewed as heavily as I expected. What's really interesting is that only 57% percent of those surveyed were either Republican or Democrat. Where, in the other vehicle break-downs you get closer to 80% identifying with a political party. Curious...
