I have a 2005 with package 6 (BC). I was wondering if there is special internal circuitry that enables the JBL radio to use XM radio or if it is just a special plug on the radio or harness? If it is a plug does anyone know if there is an adapter available or a kit for an adapter available so Sirius could be used?

I have personally installed the kit from http://www.factoryinteractive.com. The instructions were great. They even sent a DVD showing the kit being installed that you can refer to. The unit essentially plugs into the back of the factory radio. Then, you can toggle through the SAT presets with either the mode button on the steering wheel or the AM button on the radio.

I bought the Sirius kit because I was doing a cross country trip and back. I am very happy with it. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
