I've tried to find out if there is anything going on in Washington State reference Hybrids with one person on board using the HOV lanes. I have emailed a couple congresmen and can't get any response.
Has anyone come up with any information on this subject?

Congratulations on being a Washington resident. This last legislative session's secret motto was "money grab".

Considering that the legislature was more interested in money grab and big government than in just about anything else there wasn't even a thought about adjusting HOV lane laws to accomidate hybrids or other clean fuel vehicles.

You didn't honestly expect our legislature to be progressive or reasonable, did you?
