Since I became interested in the Prius, I have read lots of information on the internet about the car. A couple of sites that I can no longer find stated that the Prius' HVAC controls could be managed by voice activation. There was even a list of commands that the system would recognize. Does anyone know anything about this? :?:

Thanks for the link to John's website. That's the same list I had seen before, but it doesn't tell me how to get it to work in the car. When I push the button on the wheel for the voice activation it states it doesn't recognize my commands. Any suggestions?

So I tried it again and yes it does work, just not that well initially. Thanks for your help.

The help screen shows the list of recognizable commands. And you have to speat at a slightly higher than normal volume. Higher than you would normally talk to somebody sitting next to yo in a small car. Adn most importantly, you have to ennounciate your words carefully. No ghetto sluring or mumbling.
