Is the tray properly installed in the upper glove box?

My 2006 shelf rattled too.. I think I ended up just dismounting it

It shouldn't rattle is it is installed properly. Make sure the tabs in the glove box are slipped into the groves on the shelf. The rattle comes from the shelf sitting on top of the tabs.
