According to CNN, demand for used hybrids, especially Prius, are hot.

For example, a 2005 Toyota Prius that, when new, had a sticker price of $21,515 could now sell for $25,970, even with 20,000 miles on the odometer, according to data from Kelley Blue Book. Since Toyota dealers usually charge a few thousand dollars over sticker for new Priuses, the buyer in this example probably wouldn't have made a profit, but nearly so.

Don't I wish. I brought a copy of this to my dealers yesterday when I brought my 04 in with 12,500 miles on it for it's annual state inspection sticker. He had a good laugh since there is little delay here getting a new Prius and they come with a $2600 tax writeoff. (and sell at MSRP)
He would really like to have my car on the lot, But!
And he thought the the remarks about there being a used car shortage was a gas. They are wondering what they are going to do with all the gas guzzlers being turned in for Scions and Corolla's.

I'd sell my Prius right now and put myself on the waiting list for another if I could fetch this kind of $.
