I've done a bit of searching, but has anyone installed a new sound system into their Prius? I will hopefully be getting a Prius soon and I hope to move the amps, speakers, sub from my old car. I know for sure the stock system will not be satisfying to me.

Anyone have some pictures to show off, perhaps?

There's been quite a lot written and tried when it comes to upgrading the sound system. It seems that this is something that most owners find substandard.

Check out Priuschat.com under 'Audio'. Just check to see that the thread pertains to your system. You'll either be getting the JBL (package #6) with nine speakers and the external amp or the base/standard model radio with 6 speakers.

There's a few photos, too. Numerous folks have found that by just adding a sub, the sound improves markedly.
