I just got my Siemens S56 BT phone last week. I leave the BT on all the time. My questions are:

1. Does leaving BT on shorten the standby time? My battery only lasts one day with the BT on.

2. Does leaving BT on when you get a call outside the car cause a BT connection error?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

1. Yes
2. Yes, if the Prius is in Power. No, if is not

How long are you actually in the car and using the connection? I drive maybe an hour each way to and from work, and the battery gauge is usually only one bar down when I get home in the evening. And I do keep it on the entire day at work, but it's not actively connected to any bluetooth devices.

You may have a bad battery.

1. Agree, yes.
2. The 1st call after getting out of the car always complains about
not being able to find the BT head set - thereafter I don't get any
more such errors until my next ride.
