What sort of text messages?Roger said:anyone know why text messages dont come up on the screen? one would think that would be an obvious feature...
I'm sure that was the subject of many an argument at Toyota HQ. They want you to be safe, while at the same time offering options to make you buy the carRoger said:besides, you can make phone calls above 5mph, if only using the speed dial..
Or just use the sensor they already have to detect if the seat is occupied.Roger said:they should have a passenger function switch, where the passenger has to hold in a 'function' switch on their side, out of reach of the driver, and it unlocks all the locked out screen functions, like dialling and nav stuff etc.
Ah! I just let the spam pile up until I get to the office to delete it. Or does anyone ever get anything but advertising on a text phone?Roger said:Sorry... silly me. From a bluetooth phone.
that wouldn't work, because that means the driver would be able to use the functions too.SkipHuffman said:Or just use the sensor they already have to detect if the seat is occupied.
I have never seen anything else.Anonymous said:sms advertising? on a phone?
doesnt happen at all in this country... it's illegal - in fact it has never happened. it was illegal before it was ever attempted. Sending text messages to friends is big here.. people do it all the time.
