What is the best way to test drive a Prius before ordering one in Seattle preferable on the Eastside? Are there any Seattle dealers that have a Prius to test drive? Thanks.

Michael's Toyota in Bellevue? I took my ride at Bob Bridge in Renton. I found Toyota of Seattle to be totally unprepared to talk about the Prius or to have one available.

I live in Seattle, and I just got my Prius on Saturday.

Although I had to drive out to James Toyota in Moses Lake, WA to get it. If you are interested, they have a 2005 White #6 Prius available for you to look at.

It is a 2.5 hour drive both ways, btw.

Good luck,

Bob

How long did you wait for to get your Prius from James Toyota in Moses Lake? What color and Package did you get?

Last summer I was able to get a rental from Enterprise here in Everett, the day after I called, and drove it for a week. I would recommend that route, you will learn more about the car and the way it drives in your everyday routine.

Toyota has its own rent-a-car program, too, operated through select dealerships. Haven't tried it myself, but I've heard from others it's a good way to get an extended test drive.
