I have a 2005 Prius with Navigation and Bluetooh. I am trying to sync my cell phone address book to my car. In the manual it gives instructions; however, it is not working. Is it something that the Toyota Dealer has to do or is it something that my cell phone company has to deal with. Thanks.

phone book transfer is dependent on the implementation of Bluetooth in your particular phone.

Especially what carrier you use. Verizon has disabled OOP (Obex Object Push), which is required to send the phonebook to the Prius.

how up-to-date is toyota.letstalk.com? I'm with T-Mobile and am interested in getting either a Samsung Trace, Samsung t629 or Blackberry Pearl. All are said to have Bluetooth capability, but are not mentioned on Letstalk as to compatibility. Could it be because they are too new? Does anybody have any experience?

Try the phone under other carriers. Although TMobile hasn't been problematic about messing with the BT capabilities of the phones like Verizon does.

I did find the Blackberry Pearl.
Under http://www.letstalk.com, I did find the T629, but not the Trace. Probably too new to find under Toyota.Letstalk.com
