So has anyone tried or was successful in putting a sunroof in? I was told by the dealer that the roof line did not allow for a sunroof.

EJ, your dealer was correct, but I believe you can get one installed if you have the roofline changed. Someone has.

Quite a few Classic Prius owners have installed a sunroof. The curvy roofline on a 2004+ Prius isn't conducive to a sunroof, and I haven't heard of an installation yet.

The link DanMan posted shows an installation on the newer model. It looks as if the "flattened" the roof to do it... I have to admit that is the one perk I kind of missed on the Prius, but I don't think it's worth that drastic a modification to me...
