I just hit 400 miles today. I had the air conditioner turned on and noticed a "buzzing" sound coming from the firewall on the drivers side that sounds something like ABS does when it kicks in. It makes this sounds for about two seconds when I press the brake when moving and when I accelerate from a stop. If I turn the air conditioner off, it doesn't do this. Is anybody else hearing this sound?

I haven't noticed anything specifically related to the A/C, but I have heard a similar sound at times - usually when I've reached my destination and shut the car off. My understanding is that there's a small pump and "thermos bottle" that the car uses to store a portion of the engine coolant, and returns it when you next start the car. Maybe you're hearing this?
