Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic panel that is under and inward of the lower glovebox? I've had a mice problem in the cabin filter area and I know there's some debris resting above that panel.

It simply snaps off. The left side though is hindered by the hump cover.
Mighty be easier to see/understand if you take the lower glovebox out.

Careful when putting the bottom cover back on. I nearly bent the clips which is part of the plastic piece.

John's site is a veritable goldmine of Prius information. Once there, go to "Prius Info" - "User Guide H" where you'lll find John's Owner's Manual much better than the one you received with your Prius. There is an excellent illustrated section on accessing the cabin air filter.

I don't think he is asking about how to get the air filter off. He dropped debris below the lower glove box, below the cabin fan.

ChasSuitt, I've bookmarked John's site...it is a goldmine of info, thanks. Yeah, since the mice attack, I can whip off the lower glove box in about 7 seconds!
