Please give advice on the following:

1. I do mostly stop and go driving and can usually feather the pedal to cruise elec. only at certain speeds lower than 40mph. Would the EV switch really help?

2. Does it void the warranty?

3. I'm not going to attempt to touch any wires - I know I'll screw it up. Is there anyone in NJ who can install it for me?

Thanks.

1) EV switch won't improve fuel economy by any appreciable degree.
2) You run the risk of Toyota denying warrantee coverage if there is a battery-related failure.
3) Good luck!

I installed the Coastal Tech EV switch in my Prius. It is very easy; the hardest part is getting your fingers in the limited space. I'm sure someone that is good with car stereos and small fingers could easily install it.
