As a new owner of a 2004 Black Prius #9 (awaiting transit from CA to IL), just wondered if there was a Prius Club to join in the Chicago area. Didn;t run across anthing via Google.

Would be nice to learn from other owners the 'ins & outs' of the 2004 Prius and meet some folks from our hybrid community.

Also a little concerned about lack of dealer orientation as purchased my baby from out-of-state.

Any direction much appreciated.

North Suburbs, anyway

Hi!

I just got mine on Wednesday, a silver-grey 2005 with option package #7 (at least I think so). I waited six months and got an early shot at this one when some one else didn't accept it! I'm up in the North Suburbs -- live in Lake Bluff and work in Wheeling. I haven't seen too many of them around out here yet. On the west coast (California and Oregon, anyway)there are a lot more of them. I expect that will likely change over the next couple of years, though!
