Yes thats right you to can have a Prius that sticks out of the crowd even more than before!!!! Please note the kits do not take away from your mpg. Nor will they give you more mpg. they just look goood. :D

I'd have about one day of enjoyment before they get sheared off on a driveway or intersection. With the already-low ground clearance of the stock Prius, I'd think twice before lessening it further.

I would guess very strongly that they would affect your MPG's. Would it be a lot? would it be enough that you would care? don't know, but any change to the aerodynamics would change things -- especially on a Prius.

they didn't need a rear wing for the Bonneville salt flat run, I am guessing I don't need it for the trip to Costco

Dan,

Don't you mean the "Tideland Pearl" (NOT Seaside) color as being gray one minute then green (?) the next? However, as I said in another post, I have looked at the "Tideland" color in different degrees of daylight from all angles for all panels (sides & top surfaces) & haven't yet seen a hint of green in that color. The only green I've seen on a "2G" Prius is the '06 "Silver Pine Mica" on a Prius that just happened to convoy with me yesterday on I-91 S on the way to New Haven,Ct. Now that green is nice! However, my favorite Prius green is the dark forest green (I don't really know what it is called----I don't have any sales brochures going back that far) of the '03 "Classic". Now that's even richer looking!

although it doesn't blend in with the surroundings like a chameleon (that would probably be a safety hazard, other cars and people should see me coming!), my 2001 Aqua Ice can be anywhere between light blue, light green, to a dark blue/grey or green/grey, depending on the lighting.
