This might look like a stupid question. I'd like to take my Prius to a car wash but I wonder if I need to take off the antenna (can I even take it off)?

The antenna is easy to unscrew by-hand once you've initially loosened it with a tool (the same goes for the accessing the A/C filter too).

So before going into a car wash, all you have to do is reach over and twist. It's no big deal to remove.

antennas are an easy thing to come by...
Just find one that'll screw into the hole.
