The wife comes running in this morn worried to death. We had just got our new pri last week and there were no dash lights. I went out to check and sure enough whenever she turned on the head lights the dash went out. So i gently (25 yr wife no reason to get rid of her) showed her the dim wheel trun o n viloa dash lights then she remembered there was a do hickey she fooled with yesterday that didn't seem like it had done anything OH WELL

LOL, I've done something like that....

A few years ago, I had my Subaru Outback cleaned at a new car wash place. When I left, I noticed the parking lights were on, and would NOT turn off. I tried everything... finally called the car wash place and rudely asked them what in the HELL they had done to my car, etc., etc... took it to the Subaru dealership the next day. Only to have them point out that on the top of the steering column is a switch that turns on the parking lights..... (I'm so short, I couldn't see it when sitting in the car....) At least they were nice and didn't charge me for showing me that I'm an idiot...
