The recommended oil is 5W30. Don't listen to your dealer when they try and put in the cheaper (to them) 10w30.

5000 miles, as John and Michelle say. I had them put Mobil-1 in mine. No problems. Gas mileage jumped up more than 5 MPG, but that may be partly due to my driving and other factors.

I am running Mobil 1, did not notice a change in gas mileage but the car seems quieter. It is kinda a waste of money, but I like that the money stays here in Virginia and doesn't go to the middle east.

Give the tech three quart bottles of Mobil 1. Assuming that he pours it all into the car, this will fill the system including filter to halfway between the ADD and FULL marks, which is perfect. Clever of Toyota to design it that way :_>
