Set up a page at Dianne's site at Carson Toyota <http://www.carsontoyota.com> Was surprised to find no TSBs or recalls for my early model 2001. Not even the steering rack recall! Has anyone had better luck, or is their database for Prius recalls and TSBs empty???

I had my ECU replaced at the 30k mile service per the above TSB. It seems to have remedied the loss of power "phenomenom" between 68 -73 mph. My dealer charged Toyota Corp. just under $1,000 for the job.
I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it!!

My Prius VIN was in the surging ECU group. Never did drive fast enough to prove whether mine had it or not. Got a new ECU a few weeks ago so I'll never know.
