[Pebble Beach]

Around 15 months ago I got caught in a freakish and vicious hail storm. Left many pings on my old car and severaly reduced the trade in value.

Anyway, out of the blue yesterday afternoon we got hit with a hail storm. Wasnt as big as the other one but there was still alot of bad stuff coming down. All I could think of was my brand new Prius. When it was all over I went out to assess the damage. Ready to lament. To my delight there was no damage.

I was doing 70 mph on the interstate when I thought someone had machine-gunned my car. Then I saw those 'nickle-sized' hail stones bouncing on the road. By the time I could get off the hwy and under some trees the hood looked like a golf ball, scattered single shots all around the sides and roof, no glass damage. Comprehensive pays roughly 2G repair less $50 next week. I hope they will spray over my assorted little scrapes at the same time. Peace, Ammiel
