I've noticed the MPG reading seems to behave quite strange at startup. I realize that the ICE probably needs to "heat up" to get the MPG to level out, but what perplexes me is when you've just started the car, say a minute earlier, and you get up to perhaps 20 mph... Then you let the car coast slowly to a halt, and the arrows show wheels to battery, where the battery is being charged. Typically in this case, the MPG is 99.9, but when the ICE is cold, I've notices the MPG is closer to 20. How can this be if there are no arrows originating from the ICE? I just can't understand that. :) Can someone clue me in?

If you listen closely I would bet you can hear the ICE running.
I am assumming since the ICE is doing nothing but warming up it will not show any arrows.

This is what I have seen.
