I had my 5,000 mile service yesterday, and had 'em put Mobil-1 in. I did like John said, and asked them to only put in 3.5 quarts, and leave me the extra half-quart in the car.
They said "no problem," and did this. The bottle is stored away for right now.
After the oil change, I promptly went to the gas station to fill up and check the oil. I filled the tank, then got into a conversation with a pretty lady, and promptly forgot to check the oil. D'oh!
