I won't (can't) compete with John on quality of photos, but I can get one here first! Except for the one drunken brawl, we had a very pleasant sidewalk visit at the coffee shop, admiring our line of handsom cars. That is John taking a picture from the far side. Perhaps I will be in his?

Dang, is that 9 in a row?

The most I've seen is 3. And that's only because a BMW pulled out from between two, and I took the spot in the middle!

Of course, I haven't seen or heard of any Prius getogethers in the Portland, OR area, either.
Oooh!! A whole clutch of them! :D Wonderful photo. I was hoping someone would post about the gathering. But most important, was the coffee any good? :D

At three in the afternoon, with the sun and mid-eighties, it was mocha-cooler time. Mmmmmm. :)

SUN in the MID-EIGHTIES, in MINN ?!? What a scurilous way to boost property values. Must have had the thermometer in the hot coffee cup.

I was following a Silver 04/05, xactly like mine on freeway, when another Silver 04/05 xactly same, wanted to merge in from entrance ramp.

So of cuss, I let him in btwn the two of us. Looked like a Hybrid conga line. :D
The sweet part was that 4 other Prius (3 Classic & 1 HSD) drove by as we were sitting out there swapping hybrid stories.

So between the 15 that were there for the gathering and the ones we spotted, the count comes to 19. That's likely some kind of record for the Midwest.

As for the gathering itself, we ran out of consecutive parking spots. But from one of the photos (not available yet, but soon), you can see 13 Prius all at once!!!
I got there a bit later than Hep, and you can see 13 Prius, all in a row! There were actually two more there, for a high of 15!
Thaks to John for organizing this nice event and getting the nice weather, as well!

Today it's in the upper 80's, but Hep didn't tell you about our state bird (not the loon, the other state bird), this year with all the rain, they're BIG and MEAN! Three of them together can carry off a small child, I wish somebody could load them all into a Hummer and send them back to the West Nile

But seriously, only one Salsa? And here I was at work. Last thursday, Wife and I were crusing through the parking lot at the Cub store in Mankato and around the corner coming the other way was an identical Salst to ours, now talk about the Prius wave!!!
Aww, the most Prii we've managed to conjure up here in NC is 4 at once. Although word is spreading and if all our club members got together at once we MAY have 9 or 10 hybrids...

Looks like fun! Yay for large groups of Prii!
A dozen photos from the gathering are now available on my website.
Notice the complete lack of owners in the photos? As nice as the cars look, we were an even better looking bunch of people! The women are strong, the men are good looking and all of the children are above average!
I'd love to find some more New Englanders willing to meet! My other car is a Subaru Impreza...and well we just went to a meet that could very well be a record breaker. We gathered at Nashoba Valley in Massachusetts. More than 300 Subarus...Great start to spot 19 Prii...the first Subie meet I went to was 5...then next jumped to 36...now it numbers in the hundreds.

It was a nice family time, with all sorts there-young racers, auto-X guys, me and the toddler...

Pretty impressive pictures

I think the Prius could easily get to those numbers! We're that fanatical!
Do you think we could do it? People came from NY, among all other New England states...

Actually I did notice... I was thinking... That Rascal Hep went and took that picture at the toyota loading dock.

Actually mgaelli's photo shows me in the background. Under the umbrella, I am the one on the left. Really!

I can vouch for that! Hep's the one with EXTRA large coffee
And when have you ever seen this many Prius at a dealership?
Very nice, it's good to see all those lovely vehicles next to one another :)
