I discovered last night that my cleaning lady (apparently) tossed my NAV SYSTEM manual out with a collection of old magazines.
* Has anyone had to replace a Prius manual..? Are they easily available..?

It's about $10-15 at your favorite dealership's parts department.

You can also call Toyota Publications and order it there. 800-622-2033 (7a-5p, PST) http://techinfo.toyota.com/public/main/mdc.html calls them the Toyota Materials Distribution Center (MDC). Visa or Mastercard.

Or, if you have a credit card and a decently fast internet connection, you can download it (and many other Toyota/Lexus/Scion manuals) from Toyota. ($10/10 euro for a 1 day pass)

If it's much more than that then PM me. $15 would probably make it worth my while to drive to the post office and send you the NAV manual and quick start guide that I have from my 2005 Prius that was totaled.

I went there first. Lotsa regular manuals. No Nav manuals. Local Toyota Dealer wants $60 to order one. I'll call the 800 number tomorrow.

Lost Nav Manual.

I called the 800 # for Totota manuals. Nice lady took my order.
(Manual $15.95) $23.15 with postage. Delivered w/i 7 days. Very efficient. I'm impressed.
BTW: I called my local dealer. They wanted $60.00

I hope you did more than just "call" the dealer, more like "call them on the carpet" for asking more than $40 extra for that manual. Thats the kind of thing that makes people hate dealers.

Yeah.. I know.. I thought about it but do they really care..? :roll:
Fortunately my Prius has required no service other than oil changes so I haven't established any kind of a relationship there. I hope it stays that way.
