I forgot to start a new thread when I posted this....

I wrote Sion a quick note asking about when they'd have a lithium battery form EV. Here is their reply:

We do see a potential fit for our lithium sulfur batteries in EV’s and HEV’s due to their very high specific energy. This would enable the vehicle manufacturer to reduce the amount of weight associated with the battery system. However, it is not a near term market for our technology. It is at least 5 years away.

To qualify for any electric vehicle program, you must have a system capable of 1000+ full depth of discharge cycles. We feel in time our batteries will be able to accomplish this. If you do not do a full discharge, we can meet this requirement today.
