FWIW according to the interwebs if you have silver logo (SKS) key, and want to program a black key, you can, it will work to start the engine, but not for the buttons to open the door, at all. The metal key is of course compatible. IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE: KEY/FOB Programming Issues
