Congratulations! I totally share your enthusiasm. I received my Seaside BC on Friday. I had placed my "orders" (with two different dealers) the week of 11/17. I feel very fortunate to have received exactly what I wanted.

Thank you all for the congrats and well wishes. It is true that receiving the Prius is a great way to end the year. I am having a blast learning all I can and driving it around.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I am still not used to the dead silence when I come to a stop. Everyone I've take for a spin thinks there is something wrong with the car. It's great!

Is this normal? To receive word and get the car the very next day? My dealer told me he would give me around a months notice. Which is what I want. Not a days notice. I am financing around half the purchase and wanted time to get that in order, plus selling of my current car.

I got word when it was ready for pickup - just depends on the dealer and how busy they are.
