I'm being told by a dealer that the wait list for a 2006 Prius is a year...fact or fiction?

Here in the Twin Cities they are telling people 8 months.

In Fall River Ma. you can have your color choice that's sitting on the lot. (05) The 06's have not been released yet But I imagine they will be just as available as the 05 depending in what part of the country you are in.
Here in New England I have heard commericials for the 05's on local radio . (for supposedly immediate delivery)

When I rodered my 06' end of July I was about #6. At that time though there were several, like 8 or 9 05's right there on the lot... I guess 6 other people were like me and wouldnt pay full price for essentially a year old car.
