My dealer tells me I don't need an alarm -- I know they can't steal the car but I'd like an alarm that might keep them from making a real mess. Has anyone added a Toyota alarm -- $249, I think -- to Smart Entry? How does it interface? Are there chirps? Do you have to press a button before entering? I like smart entry and dislike chirps waking up my neighbors when I leave for work at 5 in the morning, but work in a high-crime area.
