Some other boards that I frequent have the equivalent of a "Hall of Wisdom" forum, subdivided as appropriate.

I often see members here referring newbies to do a search for topics which have been rehashed over and over.

Wondered whether collecting all the really juicy and helpful topics into one forum might be useful in finding answers to common questions (pulse driving, winter v summer, tires, etc.). Only the moderators would be able to enter and edit, so it stays reserved for the gems. True you can do a search but it is much easier to scan archives in some situations.

Just a thought.

Hmm, moderators???

Rather than regathering all the information, I like to just refer people to John's Prius Website. He's done a great job collecting the amassed wisdom of a large number of Prius websites and the experts who frequent them.

For more technical questions, Graham's Prius Website is a real gem.

PriusOnline WIKI

http://wiki.priusonline.com

I have set up a WIKI site to ack as a knowledge base for the commonly asked questions. The WIKI will allow any registered member of PriusOnline to post detailed articles on any Prius or hybrid related topic. Using the WIKI will allow for more formating options then simply creating an additional forum for this. The logon to the WIKI is the same as used for the forum.

Having a Wiki is a neat idea. Although the syntax is more complicated than the syntax used here.
