And that is...
Getting your wheels balanced and your 4-wheel alignment done!

I just had mine done. I immediately restored my tire pressure (the dealers always let air out), filled my tank, and began my daily driving.

So far this tank, my MPG has been in the upper-50/lower-60 ranges! I will let you know how this goes over the next couple of tanks (or you can just see my records over on Greenhybrid.com ).

Definitly agree. If your car is out of allignment, the forces that are pulling you one side or another or that are creating strange wear patterns on your tires are robbign you of power and as such you are less efficient than you would be if you were not out of allignment.

Good rule of thumb is to have the car alligned with every new set of tires.
