Well, it was bound to happen, I suppose. I was turning right, into my parking spot, when I clipped the corner of a wooden tool shed with my front, left bumper.

There are a series of longish scrapes of varying thickness. It's way too much to consider touching up myself.

Any idea how much I'd be looking at to get it repainted?

I'm sick about this and am trying not to obsess about it.

Thanks,

marlowe

First Scrape

Yeah, I had the same problem about a week ago. I pulled into a parking lot and French Kissed the right front bumper cover of my new blue Prius on one of the lamp standards. Yes, it was indeed a wet and sloppy French Kiss!

I have the Invisi-Shield invisible bra on my car, and that helped to protect the bumper, but not totally. I'm afraid to ask the price of a new bumper cover.

first scrape

Why would you ask the price of a new bumper cover?

I'd assume they could repaint the bumper the same as any other part of the car.

Am I wrong about that?
