Drove my 2 day old package 4 across to Vero Beach and back today, about 300 miles round trip. 50 mpg for the total trip - wow, and me a novice and all. Of course the trip has alot of 50 mph driving, weather was perfect, etc. but still, I got to practice pulse driving a bit, and start to get a feel for the screens.

I am pretty impressed by the beast, not just from the mileage but also found it to be roomy, comfortable, adequately powered. All the A/C and other systems checked out well. I like it.

Next purchases: dashboard compass, slip cover for the rear seat (now covered with Doberman fur) - recommendations welcome.

One of my first purchases was a back seat cover. I like this one - fits great, is unobtrusive in grey (I have grey Prius interior), and allows seatbelt thingies to stick out so pupster is seatbelted into her harness. http://www.kozyk-9.com/
