Yes. To clarify, it is a momentary ground provided by a momentary switch. So, you could add your own switch like I did, get an imported OEM switch, redirect a grounding contact used for flashing the brights on the combo switch, or use Coastal's mod that adds this function to the CC cancel.

Wow, very simple concept. I cant believe this, well sorry. I just see so many people buying the EV switch and it simply just shorts HV ECU pin 27 to ground. I cant wait to get my salvaged prius running. I have so many switches laying around im going to get a nice one for this project. Cant wait!

this is irrelevant but i had my salvage prius and my HV battery was discharged, i knew there were chargers out there at dealers. So i visited some big guy that had that bully persona at toyota, he was the "prius tech" ( i put it in quotes because well hes not even close ), so i asked if there was a HV charger he said no you need to replace HV battery. Therefore i left, and went on my journey to create a HV charger in a chock full of nuts can.
