Is there a thread about where I can go to find the engine codes? My check engine light wouldn't go off, so I took it in and got the following codes:
P1116, P1121, P1150, C2300 and C2318. The little battery was replaced and I was told that a 16670-21010 Valve Assembly needed to be replaced, but nothing was explained about the other codes.
THANKS!

Re: Prius fail codes

See fail code descriptions below:

• P1116 = Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Stack For Coolant Heat Storage System

• P1121 = Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Circuit Stuck -- Comments below are from a Prius tech on http://www.priuschat.com. Repair was covered under vehicle 36 month/36,000 mile warranty. However, if your Prius is a 2004–2007 model, the original factory warranty has expired.
.
"The P1121 code is very common and Toyota issued a Technical Service Bulletin and a new updated part. The new part # XXXXX correct/fix this concern is 16670-21010 Coolant Flow Control Valve and the TSB # XXXXX XXXXX The labor time is 2.1 hours and please check with the Local Dealer as to Parts Price--they will vary by area of the country and Dealer markup."

• P1150 = Coolant Path Clog Up For Coolant Heat Storage System -- Comments below are from a Prius tech on http://www.priuschat.com.
.
"The P1150 code indicates a clogged coolant path for the heat storage system. We have never seen a clogged system and this code is just a byproduct of the first P1121 code. Basically the system doesn't 'see' the coolant flowing and sets these codes. In other words ... the coolant isn't moving. That is what sets both codes and not because the system is clogged. Trust me, it's not clogged."
.
• C2300 = Shift Control System (Parking Lock Control): Act System Malfunction

• C2318 = Shift Control System (Parking Lock Control): Low Voltage Error
