The new televison Ad for the Hummer.

In the Ad it shows a astonimer spotting a comet heading for earth. He goes on line and orders a hummer to escape in.

In the shot of a car pulling away to pick up his Hummer, the vehicle looks like a Sebring Vanguard citicar. Which is a electric car.


This is kind of funny. Because in the movie "Who killed the electric car."
It's claimed that GM killed the EV1, so that they could buy A.M. General. (The Manufacture of the first hummer)

Doesn't bode well for GM's plug-in hybrid if their marketing is slighting EVs.

I think it'd be cool to have an electric jeep with a solar tent to charge it. Maybe with a range of 250 miles like the Tesla.
