Has anyone installed Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on a 2004/2005 Prius assembled for the US market?

I've been told that the wiring harness will support the installation, but that the fuse block clips and other components are folded back and taped within the harness. Also, I was told that once the clips, etc. were installed, all that was necessary was for a service tech to enable the DRL codes in the computer. I've talked with the local service manager and Prius tech and they doubt if it is possible.

One possibility is to buy the service manual, including schematics, and try to do it myself. The down side would be that I would screw up something, and possibly void the warranty.

Thanks for any information.

Just leave the lights on. They turn off automatically when you open the door (after turning off the car).
