After having to jump start the 12v battery in a parking lot , everything works fine, except the driver's window :? . It will no longer operate up/down automatically. You have to hold the button up/down to get the window to close/open all the way. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

It needs to be reset. Let's see if I remember the procedure.

To normalize the power window:
1. Push down the power window switch
and lower the window halfway.
2. Pull up the switch until the window
closes and hold the switch for a second

I cheated and got it out of the owner's manual. Power Windows section in section 2-1: Operations of Instruments and Controls.

In the 2004 US Prius Owner's Manual, in the section that instructs you on how to jumpstart your vehicle, they include the page number to normalize your power windows (page 40 in the power window section).

Thanks guys. I think I reset by accident, as it is working today. I kept playing around with the switch last night and probably reset it without knowing. Again, thanks a bunch.

I think the key is to raise the window to its upper limit, and when it gets there and you hold the button, it notes the topmost position. However, you can't start from the lowest position as it probably will note that it ran through the max travel.
