A friend of mine owns a Prius. Someone knocked off the driver side mirror... the whole unit. It appears that the mirror could be expoxied or somehow glued back on rather than spend $300 to buy the whole unit plus labor.

Any suggestions on how to reattach?

If you pop off the tweeter (it pulls off when the door is open) I believe you can then access the screws that holds the mirror mount to the door.

You wouldn't have to buy the whole unit, either.
