we got hem as part of our deal with the salesman, he says they are a pain in the neck! but..... I was told it stops thieves from stealing the lug nuts, the locked ones need a special wrench to remove them. thanks for all replies Barbara

Lock Lugs

Yes - came on the lotted car.
From everything I have heard, they're a royal PITA since the garage monkeys manage to ruin them or loose the "keys".
I'm planning to replace them with regular, non-locking nuts at my first service.
Besides... One lock per wheel doesn't stop wheel theft: it just means you'll be missing your rims AND have a broken stud on each wheel. FAR safer to use 2 per wheel.
Anyone wanna buy that second set soon?
