I would design a car that runs on either Magic, Cosmic Power, or Anti-Gravity.
The Magic model can have two versions. One that runs on Black Magic, and requires blood sacrifices to refuel, and the other that would run on White Magic would require good deeds to refuel.
The Cosmic Power version would only come with a manual transmission, and in order to refuel, one would have to meditate, and convice the 'Elders' of the importance of the trip.
The Anti-Gravity version, would of course run on the property of the universe that makes gravity work, while still conforming to the laws of conservation of energy.
