Can anyone explain exactly what the delivery, handling and processing fee of $515 is and what it covers?

My understanding is that it covers
shipment of the car from Japan to
your local dealer. The fee is slightly
higher in the Gulf States and Southeast
Toyota regions.

Thanks, that was my understanding also and after checking with the salesmanager at the dealership, was assured their would be no additional charge when we pick up our Prius. I had noticed on our receipt that the salesman had written $1224 for frieght off to the left of our agreed price. I don't know what that was all about but wanted to be sure there wouldn't be any last minute surprises when we pick our car up.
