Was unable to engage the cruise control a while ago, not matter what I did to the cruise stalk or what language I used on it. I stopped and 're-booted' and it worked! The same happened a bit later and I spotted what I was doing. My cruise will not engage when the transmission is set to 'B'.

I like to engage 'B' when going down hills, but now I know to look for a 'B' if the cruise doesn't work!

Hm, I thought it was in the manual that cruise control doesn't work in B...

Anyhow, you have to be going faster than 24mph to set a cruise control speed. If your cruise light just flashes at you, it could be the brake light switch not properly installed (often seen after a retrofit install).
