Yup, I got bored and tried my hand at a couple banners to replace the one at the top left of the page.

I've got two versions, one still, and one that's an animated gif. Sorry, I got carried away, and the animated gif is over 500k. (But, most people will only load it once anyway, then it will come off their local cache.)

So, without further ado....

The animated one should go once, then stop on the same frame as the non-animated one.

That would be fine if it actually did come off the cache after the first download, but I find event the emoticons don't load fast on the left when begin posting a reply.
