New to the site....but was wondering if the MCU of the car has an interface to download or monitor data via a laptop. I have a 91 300ZXTT that can do this.
OBDII has been standard on most vehicles for some time now.
For a Classic Prius, because of multiple computers all answering at the same time, some aftermarket/cheap OBDII readers can get confused... take a look at: http://www.ecrostech.com/Products/MiniScanner/Intro.htm (I've seen long computer printouts from several functions for certain driving trips made by some owners...)
Thanks for the info,
I checked that out and it looks alot like the "TechTom" that I use on the Z. Being my car is an 05, I will keep monitoring the situation.
You might be able to email him for the latest code. He said he is considering packaging a system using CANUSB.
