I just finished my first test drive of the Civic Hybrid today. It is definitly a different car than the prius. I noticed that it seemed to be a little peppier than the prius, but not by a large amount. The overall I was pleased with the interior, however I diden't like the instrument panel layout. I missed not having the average MPG display (if it's there I coulden't find it) but the instant MPG display seemed more responsive than the one in the prius. The ride was similar to what I get with my prius if I lower the tire preseure to the reccomended values. The only other complaint I can think of with the civic is the lack of stealth, and the ULEV rating instead of the SULEV, other than that I think it is an excellent car and will look forward to seeing more on the road.

Jeff,
MPG reading is available on Civic Hybrid by pressing odometer button and selecting either Trip "A" or Tri "B".
