I have read other message boards that have said that Toyota plans no new changes to the 2005 model, not even color or package options. Apparently someone asked a Toyota rep. about it at a car show in NY. I think that they planning to make the model year switch as seamless as possible and catch up with the demand. I hope this link works:

Thier are so-many Priusess on back order, that changing the options for 2005 would cause a lot of headakes. Because Toyota would half to contact all the effected customers to tell them, they have to change thier orders.
It's not likely. If anything they may add a few dealer installed options.

Just called my dealer (Stevinson Toyota -- I'm in Colorado) for my monthly list-check. They told me the #3 I ordered would no longer be available in the 2005s. They've bumped me up to a #7, although I'm not sure I can afford it; the #3 was already stretching my budget.

Wrong again! It's a deduction, not a rebate. And it depends on the year in which you take psossession of the car, not on the model year of the car. There was a $2000 deduction for folks who took possession in 2003. $1500 deduction if you take possession in 2004. $1,000 in 2005.

If your marginal tax bracket is 20%, a $1500 deduction is worth $300. The higher your tax bracket, the more the deduction is worth to you, and vice versa.
